The Atdec Telehook TH-WH-PJ-FM is the flush, non-extending version of Atdec's projector mount. This particular model extends, at most, approximately 5 inches from the ceiling. Although close to the ceiling, it can be adjusted to work with any space. Compared to its competitors, this mount is fairly compact with dimensions of 5.5 x 6.5 x 5.25 inches. The TH-WH-PJ-FM is made of heavy-duty steel with a white finish.
Adjustments can be made to the projector position at every angle. It can be adjusted side to side (roll) plus or minus 20 degrees and tilted (pitch) plus or minus 40 degrees, and it can rotate 360 degrees around the mount’s base. The Telehook TH-WH-PJ-FM’s weight capacity maxes out at 33 pounds, but that should be plenty for most of the projectors available today. Don’t attempt to hang anything heavier than the suggested weight capacity from the mount. It could result in damage to your mount, ceiling and projector.
The projector mount comes pre-assembled and must be taken apart in order to install it in the ceiling. We are fine with disassembly, since it means we can see how the unit is supposed to fit together from the beginning. If you do run into trouble, Atdec has a plethora of resources to help you. The TH-WH-PJ-FM’s product page has an installation video that walks you through the process simply and efficiently, and there's also a user manual with installation instructions that comes with the mount. It also helps that this projector mount has a universal mounting pattern, compatible with most projectors on the market. Even better, it comes with four different sizes of extension brackets.
Because the Atdec Telehook TH-WH-PJ-FM is a flush mount, it doesn’t compensate for sloped ceilings. But the wide range of roll and tilt adjustments, should do enough compensating to be well suited for any home. You will always have cords running all the way up your wall to the projector mount, but a cord management system is in place to help organize the cords once in the projector. A quick release feature is also available so you can quickly remove the projector for cleaning or maintenance.

Atdec has also recently increased their standard five-year warranty to 10 years for all of their products, including the TH-WH-PJ-FM.
Atdec is one of our favorite manufacturers of projector mounts. The Atdec Telehook TH-WH-PJ-FM would have been ranked higher had it contained a few more features like a key and lock system, if it had been UL listed or if it could compensate for sloped ceilings. We also like the flexibility an extended mount gives us to either have it flush to the ceiling or extended down for a lower projection. The TH-WH-PJ-FM just doesn’t have those capabilities. We do like its amazing adjustability and the included 10-year warranty.
